The London Ambulance Service cover approximately 620 sq miles with a population in excess of 8m people including commuters. Within London, there are 270 London Underground Stations, 9 major main line stations and 2 major airports.

London HART is based in two locations, one east and one west to allow for a proportionate response to any incident within the London area. Each HART station has an Operations Officer.
