Smartphone app alert helps volunteer first aiders save a life

Two St John Ambulance volunteers helped save the life of a martial arts enthusiast who suffered a cardiac arrest after they were alerted to the emergency by a revolutionary new ‘Good Samaritan’ app, GoodSAM.
