Fatal accident involving male pedestrian and ambulance

An ambulance transferring a non-emergency patient between Berwick Infirmary and Wansbeck Hospital has been involved in a collision with a pedestrian. This took place at 18:52hrs on 29 October on the A1 Southbound near Haggerston Castle, Northumberland.
