SECAmb looking into benefits of directly cooling brains of cardiac arrest patients

South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) is looking to improve outcomes for cardiac arrest patients by evaluating a system which directly cools patients’ brains prior to their arrival at hospital.
