Medics attend No. 10 event in recognition of pandemic efforts
On Wednesday nearly 30 of our medics attended a special event at 10 Downing Street which was organised to recognise the hard work of the London Ambulance Service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The medics, who were nominated by their local sectors and teams, spent an hour and a half in the famous house’s garden and were greeted by the Prime Minister, his new wife and their son.
The Prime Minister gave a short speech and the medics were given a tour of the Cabinet Room, where meetings of the Government’s Cabinet take place.
