In recognition of the unusual nature of the year 2020-21, AACE has taken a different approach in the production of their annual report.
They decided instead to share more personal experiences from a wide range of ambulance staff, as well as colleagues in partner organisations who supported the ambulance sector during this challenging time.
These challenges, and more, continue to this day.
Some of the reflections in this review talk about the lessons learned from the pandemic and, while many of these lessons have been implemented, the learning will continue for years to come.
AACE publish this report as they reflect on the very real contributions and sacrifices made by ambulance service employees and volunteers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
