The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games will take place between 23rd July 2014 and 3rd August 2014 and will be the largest multi-sports event ever held in Scotland.
In preparation for the additional pressure this will create on local health services, NARU has been co-ordinating and delivering pre-planned aid of specialist assets to the Scottish Ambulance Service for the duration of the Games.
Scottish Ambulance Service is a key partner in the delivery of the Games, providing emergency medical services to venues and events during Games time, as well as forming an integral part of planning for safety and security in the run up to the Games.
