Public invited to nominate someone for going ‘above and beyond’

Members of the public are being invited to nominate ambulance service staff for going above and beyond to help them. ​Every year, North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (NEAS) holds the Above and Beyond the Call of Duty (ABCD) Awards to recognise staff who have given exceptional care.  ​This year’s event will take place at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Durham on 9 October – and members of the public have until 31 July to make a nomination. ​The celebration also incorporates the long service ...
