Big hearted school pupils ready to save lives

Volunteers from North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) trained more than 1,000 school pupils in lifesaving skills as part of Restart a Heart Day today (Monday, 16 October). The event has been organised in conjunction with the Resuscitation Council (UK), the British Heart Foundation (BHF), which provides the training equipment free of charge as part of its Nation of Lifesavers campaign, and North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
