Dave Bull, the Head of Education at NARU finally collected his Queen’s Ambulance Service Medal for Distinguished Service from Her Majesty the Queen on 10 December 2013 at Buckingham Palace in London.
Admitting to being a little nervous beforehand, Dave fulfilled a long-held ambition to meet the Queen and managed a three minute chat with Her Majesty when he was awarded the QAM for his, “tireless dedication to driving national ambulance education forward by demonstrating initiative, innovation, determination, confidence and leadership.”
Dave received congratulations from all at NARU and within the wider ambulance community, but also from a host of people in other government agencies with whom he has worked.
