North East emergency services win national award for terror training exercise

Northumbria Police, Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service (TWFRS) and North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) were recognised last week at the Counter Terror Awards for their emergency training exercise, which tested how the area’s services would respond to an attack.
