Flu jabs for frontline staff

A national campaign to get more frontline staff in the NHS to have a flu jab is being supported by the North East Ambulance Service. More than 600 deaths in the UK were directly caused by flu and many more were related to it during the last flu season. This year's vaccine is being offered to all NEAS staff, at sites across the North East - and members of the public who believe they may be funerable are being encouraged to follow suit.
