NEAS awarded new NHS111 contract

North East Ambulance Service has been awarded another five-year contract  to handle NHS111 non-emergency medical calls in the North East. Current providers the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust will operate the new service under a five-year contract to start in October 2018.
