NEAS helps Olympic Torch have smooth passage through NE

Months of planning at the North East Ambulance Service paid off this week with the smooth passage of the Olympic Torch through the region. Arriving on Friday in Berwick, the torch attracted large crowds wherever it went - most notably on Friday night, when television adventurer Bear Grylls delivered it to Newcastle's Quayside via a zip-wire from the Tyne Bridge.
