Scotland votes : Business as normal for ambulance service

Existing arrangements for ambulance users on the Scottish Border with England will remain the same following the vote on independence. NEAS has always enjoyed a strong working relationship with the Scottish Ambulance Service, and there are no plans or suggestions that this will change. At times of heavy demand, ambulances from either side of the Border will still be available to attend Scottish or English patients in need.
