NARU’s National Director Keith Prior and Head of Compliance Christian Cooper are on the agenda to speak at Ambition 2018 – the annual event and central focus for the international emergency preparedness, resilience and response (EPRR) community.
They will be sharing with delegates how NARU keep responders safe whilst exposing them to risk, advising the latest on:
- A new era of threat: The growing need to protect and prepare our staff for mass casualty and terrorist-related incidents
- How NARU develops and improves the national standards in the NHS for high risk threats
- The Ambulance Service’s unique legal duty of care when deploying into the hazardous areas of incident
- A new National Safe System of Work for Specialist Ambulance Responders
NARU will also have a stand at the event which takes place 6-7 March 2018 in Olympia, London, where visitors will be able to see how NARU has revised its arrangements for Compliance and Quality Assurance (CQA).
Visitors can register free of charge at the Ambition website and can arrange to meet NARU personnel on the stand.
