NARU website helping build stronger international links

The NARU website continues to be a point of focus within the UK and internationally.

Recently health professionals from Alberta in Canada enquired regarding the HART programme, its roles and responsibilities and in particular how staff are selected and trained to undertake the unique role.

A phone conference was held and NARU Head of Education Dave Bull QAM spoke at length providing background to the project and answering queries. Says Dave: “Interestingly this builds on previous discussions with the Paramedic service in Ottawa. It is worth noting that the work of NARU and that of HART is often positively commented on internationally and seen as a shining example of best practice.

“Recognising this, the importance of sharing information and the benefit that brings to the UK and ambulance services overseas should not be underestimated.”
