New NARU website to become hub for Ambulance Resilience

The National Ambulance Resilience Unit (NARU) has launched its new website at www.naru.org.uk.

The website brings together news and information from a broad range of emergency and civil resilience organisations and has been designed to become a hub of up-to-the-minute news, information and resources for those working at the sharp end of emergency planning and resilience.

The site also encompasses the content of the former national HART website (www.ambulancehart.org), providing HART teams with a wider platform to show the work they do and offering teams direct access to the site’s content management system where their managers can upload stories and photos themselves.

The new website’s content manager Carl Rees says: “The site comes at a time when ambulance resilience and the formation of NARU is at the top of the ambulance agenda. The new links with what has been until now known as NARB (the National Ambulance Resilience Board) give ambulance resilience a new foundation on which to build well into the future and this new site reflects that ambition.”
